These terms govern your use of the Sant Research website and any text messages, calls, emails, or other communications you receive from or exchange with Sant Research ("Sant Research", "we", "us"). By using the site or communicating with us, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our messaging services.

Informational use only

Content on this site and in our communications is provided for general information about our work and for coordinating engagements. It is not engineering, safety, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a warranty about any product, repair, or result. Nothing here is an offer or a contract; any work we perform is governed by the written agreement, quote, or invoice for that engagement.

Communications and automated systems

Our messages and calls may be composed, sent, transcribed, or summarized by automated systems, including artificial intelligence, and may contain errors. Confirm anything important with us before relying on it. Text messaging is subject to our SMS Terms. Telephone and messaging networks are operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for delayed, undelivered, intercepted, or misdirected messages or calls.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use any information, instruction, or recommendation we provide, including any work you perform on equipment, vehicles, electrical systems, or other property. You agree not to use the site or our communications for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity, or to interfere with our systems.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, and its content are owned by Sant Research or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the site for personal or business evaluation purposes. Any other use requires our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and our communications are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sant Research and its owner, staff, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or related to the site or our communications, however caused and under any theory of liability. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the site or our communications will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Liability for services we perform under a separate written agreement is governed by that agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sant Research and its owner, staff, and contractors from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your misuse of the site or our communications or your violation of these terms or of any law.

Links to third-party websites or services are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms, the site, or our communications will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arises.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be posted here with its effective date, and continued use of the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
